Phoenix: Live Love Laugh

Living my life… because it's GOLDEN!!

I Want a Love Like That

I love love.

Always have. Always will.
I believe in soul-stirring, mountain-moving, laugh-‘til-you-cry kind of love. The kind of love that novels are written about—the kind that doesn’t need to be perfect, just real.

Because love, like life, is never simple.
It’s messy.
It’s emotional.
It’s beautiful and chaotic and everything in between.
But still—I want it. All of it.

The words “What if” seem small on their own. But together?
They carry the weight of dreams:
What if it worked?
What if we fell in love?
What if we found everything we ever hoped for?

What if we became the kind of story people talk about—the one where two imperfect souls choose each other again and again, through joy and heartache, through laughter and tears, through it all?

I’m a sappy soul. I own that.
Because I don’t want half-hearted.
I want the kind of love that’s worth showing up for—even when it’s hard.

I want a love that moves mountains just to be near me, even if it’s inconvenient, even if it’s only for a moment.
A love that wants me there—always.

I want a love that reaches for my hand without thinking, that remembers little things that matter, and cherishes shared experiences over material things.
Let’s skip the grand gestures and build memories across the world, together.

I want a love that’s slow to anger, quick to listen, and patient through every season.
A love that understands growth is inevitable, and change doesn’t mean falling apart—it means evolving together.

I want a love that reminds me to brush my teeth, take my meds, and eat something nourishing—not because I’m incapable, but because they care.

I want a love that brings out the best in both of us—someone who lights up a room not with ego, but with energy. Someone whose dreams matter to me just because they matter to him.

I want a love that always comes home.
That tells me the good news first.
That knows without a doubt that we choose each other—every time.

I want a love that’s tender with my heart and bold with our future.
A love that shares vulnerability.
A love that waits.
A love that weathers the storm.

I want a love that’s not afraid to fight for what we have.
And I’ll fight right beside him.

I want a love like that.

I LIVE LOVE LAUGH LEARN – the only way I know how to survive this life! I am a free-spirited, independent, or uninhibited person. I began this blogging journey years ago for sharing my thoughts on everyday life. I am still struggling, but I feel someone can be motivated through my journey, thoughts, feelings, and life.
