To whoever needs to hear this—on your darkest of days, in the hardest of moments:
Just. Keep. Going.
In my Dora’s singing voice “just keep swimming, just keep swimming”
Even if it’s one inch at a time. Even if you’re crying while doing it. Even if your heart feels shattered and you want to give up.
Keep going.
Because every small step matters. It may not feel like it now, but when you look back on your week, your month, your year—you’ll see the strength it took just to keep moving. That matters.
Do something today that your future self will thank you for.
Because brighter days are coming. I promise. And if you don’t believe that yet—let me carry that belief for you.
You don’t have to be perfect. You just have to keep going. And one day soon, I want you to look back and say:
“Damn, I really made it through. I did that. I did the thing.”
You deserve that moment. And it’s coming. So take this pep talk, let it simmer in your soul—and come back for more anytime.
I live. I love. I laugh. I learn.
And when life tries to knock me down?
I get back up — with a little more sparkle and a whole lot more fight.
I’m a free spirit — bold, independent, and just the right amount of wild.
I started this blog years ago to spill my thoughts about everyday life…
and then life said, “Oh, you want stories? Let’s give you some.”
Since then, I’ve survived more battles than I ever signed up for — including a coma caused by Sickle Cell Disease, brain trauma, and enough storms to flood a lifetime.
But guess what? I’m still standing. Still smiling. Still speaking my truth.
This space isn’t just about surviving — it’s about thriving, even when the odds aren’t pretty.
It’s about healing out loud. It’s about living with fire, laughing through tears, and learning that scars don’t steal your shine — they amplify it. If you’re here for real talk, raw strength, and a reminder that you’re not alone — welcome to my world.
Pull up a chair. You’re in good company.
I LIVE LOVE LAUGH LEARN – the only way I know how to survive this life! I am a free-spirited, independent, or uninhibited person. I began this blogging journey years ago for sharing my thoughts on everyday life. Since then, so much has happened including me being in a coma because of Sickle Cell with brain damage and extreme trials in life. I am still struggling, but I feel someone can be motivated through my journey, thoughts, feelings, and life.
