At this stage in my life, I’m not interested in dating.
Not because I’m bitter. Not because I’ve given up on love. But because this chapter is about healing—and that requires a different kind of presence.
I’m 52. I think I’ve met enough liars, cheaters, and smooth talkers to last me a lifetime. I’ve been through enough to know that I’m not here to entertain someone who walks in midway through my story and expects a highlight reel.
No—this chapter doesn’t come with sparkly filters or easy answers. It’s raw. It’s real. It’s about growth. It’s about peace. So if you’re asking for a seat in my life, the question is simple:
Do you qualify?
Because healing is sacred. And access to me isn’t automatic. Not anymore.
I live. I love. I laugh. I learn.
And when life tries to knock me down?
I get back up — with a little more sparkle and a whole lot more fight.

I started this blog years ago to spill my thoughts about everyday life…

Since then, I’ve survived more battles than I ever signed up for — including a coma caused by Sickle Cell Disease, brain trauma, and enough storms to flood a lifetime.
But guess what? I’m still standing. Still smiling. Still speaking my truth.
