I am a priority

Let me remind myself
I’m a catch.
Not just because of what I’ve achieved or what I do for work, but because of who I am at my core. I am kind. I am resilient. I am someone who stares down challenges, picks herself up, and keeps going. That takes strength—not everyone has that. But I do.
I’m not defined by my resume or my relationship status.
I am defined by how deeply I love, how hard I fight, and how much light I bring to the lives of others.
I’ve shown up when I was breaking.
I’ve supported others when I needed support myself.
And even in my worst moments, I’ve chosen hope—even if it was faint.
Yes, sometimes I forget.
Sometimes I see only what I’m not, or what I haven’t yet done.
But that doesn’t take away everything I am.
So here’s a reminder for the mirror:
I am enough. Exactly as I am.
And I am worthy of love, happiness, peace, and someone who truly shows up.
I’m not just “someone”—
I’m the someone.
I’m loyal. I’m kind. I’m smart. I’m thoughtful. I’m rare.
And if you can’t show up, if you can’t see that, then step aside. I’m not here for inconsistency or confusion.
I want someone who recognizes the gift of me.
Who doesn’t second-guess my time, my heart, or my energy.
And who definitely doesn’t leave me hanging.
