Happy Sunday, If you are reading this, you have made it to the second half of 2020. Congratulations and may the odds be in your favor. May the Good lord continue to bless you through the remainder of the year.
So far I have endured being safe through a PANDEMIC out break of COVID-19 virus. I have manged to be healthy to the point of not needing any hospitalizations or medical issues due to my sickle cell disease. I am also in the high risk category for the virus, not just with Sickle Cell Disease but I have autoimmune liver disease – any autoimmune is high risk and deadly.
New things I have done so far this year for the first time besides making through the last 6 months.
Thanks to my sister living in North Carolina we now have a standing zoom family meeting on Sundays, fact you should understand my family is spread out world wide. So for the first time in life and in 2020 pandemic year I am able to see and talk to my cousins in England, Africa, Canada, Scotland, Australia, France, St. Lucia, New York, Texas, California and North Carolina. Now because of time differences we are not always able to join at the same time but most of us are.
I had my first zoom job interview – wish me luck! This one is for an office job, so I will be physically going into an office. Honestly, it went better than I expected.
I also go my first on line job, and passed all the test requirements for being certified. I was and still an nervous about this job because it seems on line jobs post a lot more work and test than my brain in ready for.
I started doing zoom Yoga on Sundays.
Currently doing my second 21-day Meditation Experience. My first 21 days was about living a life of Abundance, My second Meditation Experience: Renew Yourself: Body, Mind & Spirit both Free meditations by Deepak Chopra

What if 2020 isn’t cancelled?
What if 2020 is the year we’ve been waiting for?
A year so uncomfortable, so painful, so scary, so raw- that it finally forces us to grow.
A year that screams so loud, finally awakening us from our ignorant slumber.
A year we finally accept the need for change.
A year we finally band together, instead of pushing each other further apart.
2020 isn’t cancelled, but rather the most important year of them all. – Leslie Dwight
So far my 2020 with all it’s movers disappointments have proven to be something of gratitude.
